UK Minister apologizes for adult movies expense claim

Britain's Home Secretary has apologized for claiming the cost of adult movies screened at her home on parliamentary expenses. Jacqui Smith claimed for five movies watched on pay-per view television channels at her family home in April 2008. Two of the movies that each cost 5 pounds were classified as adult-only. The Sunday Express newspaper and other British media reported that the adult movies were watched by her husband. Smith said in a statement Sunday that the television package had been claimed in error and would be paid back. Smith is already under investigation from the parliamentary ethics watchdog over expenses she claims on the home in Redditch, 190 kilometers northwest of London, while staying with her sister in London.
