White House denies 'Ha'aretz' report of Obama trip to Israel in June
By HILARY LEILA KRIEGER, JPOST CORRESPONDENT IN WASHINGTON
Israeli Embassy and White House sources in Washington said they were unaware of any plan for US President Barack Obama to visit Israel in June, disputing a Ha'aretz account that he was stopping in Jerusalem and Ramallah after a trip to Paris.
Officials pointed out that details were yet to be finalized for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's own inaugural visit to Washington, most likely in May, and that the expectation was that Netanyahu's trip would be put in place before any commitments were made concerning Obama's schedule.
