Peres: Military option against Iran 'irrelevant'

The military option against the Iranian nuclear program has been rendered irrelevant at this point due to plummeting oil prices and the Arab world's commitment to denying Teheran an atomic weapon, President Shimon Peres said Tuesday. "The leaders of Iran will also have to wake up tomorrow morning and give their children food. What food will they give them?" asked the president, who was speaking at an event in honor of the Muslim Eid al-Adha, Festival of the Sacrifice, in the Arab city of Sakhnin in the Galilee.
