US 'deeply disappointed' as Iran convicts reporter

The White House has said US President Barack Obama is "deeply disappointed" by the conviction of an American journalist of spying for the United States.
On Saturday it was announced that Roxana Saberi was sentenced to eight years in prison. The journalist's father told NPR his daughter was tricked into making incriminating statements by officials who told her they would free her if she did.
