7 soldiers injured as bulldozer crushes jeep near Mount Dov

It appears that the incident was caused by a bulldozer which ran over a jeep containing the soldiers inside.

A serious incident near Mount Dov in the north of the country on Tuesday evening has resulted in seven soldiers sustaining injuries ranging from critical to light condition, according to a statement released by the IDF.
Among those injured was one officer, one non-commissioned officer and five conscripts, the IDF noted.
The families of those hurt in the incident have been notified and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the collision.
According to a preliminary reports, it appears that the incident was caused by a bulldozer which ran over a jeep containing the soldiers.
At least two soldiers sustained light wounds in the accident, four were in moderate condition while one was reportedly in critical condition, the military statement said.
Each soldier was air-lifted by Army helicopter to nearby Rambam Medical Center in Haifa for further treatment.
