A unique job fair in Tel Aviv

The fair will take place on Thursday, October 4, at the Smolarz Auditorium at Tel Aviv University and is designed to help people with disabilities find a place in the employment arena.

A unique job fair will take place in Tel Aviv next month, offering people with disabilities a variety of quality positions in leading Israeli companies.
The event is being led by Nurit Peleg-Wallberg in cooperation with Bank Hapoalim, the World Zionist Organization, Bella Digital and Makshivim Net.
The fair will take place on Thursday, October 4, at the Smolarz Auditorium at Tel Aviv University and is designed to help people with disabilities find a place in the employment arena.
As part of the fair, booths will be run by various leading companies in the Israeli market, speaking to prospective employees and offering hundreds of quality jobs.
The companies participating in the fair include: Teva, Bank Hapoalim, Strauss, Phoenix, Bezeq, Check Point, Tnuva, Matrix, NESS, Clal, Pelephone, IBM, Menora Mivtachim, AIG, the Education Ministry, the Justice Ministry, Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, and others.
In addition, participants will enjoy workshops designed for job-seekers, inspirational lectures about finding a career, and the sharing of success stories.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to take part in such an important initiative, and we invite our members from the large business organizations to join us and offer quality jobs to people with disabilities,” said Erik Pinto, the CEO of Bank Hapoalim.
“I am proud and excited about the opening of this unique fair which will offer people with disabilities a variety of quality jobs in the largest companies in the Israeli economy,” said Peleg-Wallberg, a scholar and author with disabilities who initiated the fair. “I am a social activist who knows first hand the difficulties that people with disabilities face and it is very important for me to influence, especially in the area of employment that is so critical for them. The goal of the fair on the one hand is to enable employers to enjoy the skills of the workers and on the other hand for the employees to realize their professional potentials.”
