Hundreds of Kfar Manda residents rioted on Sunday evening and police arrested 17 people as the Arab-Israeli town tries to come to term with local election results, which were determined by 24 votes, Channel 10 reports.
Police officers were assaulted using stones, fire-work launchers and explosive devices, two officers were injured.
Police confiscated 30 explosive devices and dozens of firework launchers on Sunday.
On Saturday morning a riot which included hundreds of people erupted in the town, three people were injured and taken to a hospital in Nazareth.
A large police force was sent and protesters threw stones at the officers and used fire-works to deter them from advancing. Several police cars were damaged and an explosive device was found near one police vehicle.
26 protesters were arrested.
