KAWAYAN by designer and artist Anat Heifetz celebrates two years and launches original eyeglass and sunglass frames in a minimalist production line, only 30 pieces per model.

According to Heifetz, "The design and production process was complex, as the field is not built for small-scale production. In the first stage, we produced two beautiful models, the PIE PIE model with a silver or black metal frame and the LIN LIN model. Eco-friendly acetate sunglasses with high-quality ZEISS lenses in glossy black, matte, transparent or gently mottled".

KAWAYAN's sunglasses and eyeglasses have a unique twist that are suitable for people who don't follow the trend," adds the designer. "The glasses are another step in building my personal brand KAWAYAN as a lifestyle brand that currently includes clothes, jewelry, hats, scarves, tools and now also eyeglass frames and we are just at the beginning the journey'.

In April 2024, Anat Heifetz will exhibit at the Venice Biennale as part of the exhibition organized by the European Cultural Center.

The organizers of the exhibition asked the artist to lead the audience through all the stages of her creation, from the engraving and painting on the bamboo to the design of the collection of clothes, accessories and tools that were inspired by them. This is a relatively rare event, almost unprecedented, in which clothes and useful tools are also displayed at the Biennale.
