Israel, Hamas, and mediators are currently working to resolve how aid will be distributed in Gaza as of Monday evening, as talks in Doha progress, two sources involved in negotiations told The Jerusalem Post.
A source added that although this issue has not been fully resolved, "75% of it is settled."
Donald Trump’s Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, will join the negotiations in Doha later this week, the White House said.
On Monday evening, discussions began on where IDF troops will be positioned during the 60-day truce. Israel is willing to show "slight flexibility" on this issue, an Israeli source said.
The 60-day ceasefire will include the release of 10 Israeli hostages during a 60-day ceasefire.
Netanyahu to meet with Witkoff, Rubio, Trump
Also on Monday evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with Witkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Netanyahu will have a dinner meeting with Trump to discuss the goal of dismantling Hamas with the US president, an Israeli source said.
