Several right-wing organizations issued a sharp appeal to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday, demanding that he halt the IDF's operation in the Gaza Strip in its current form, following the Security Cabinet's decision over the weekend.

The organizations included the Tikva Forum, the Wounded Warriors Forum, the Gvura Forum, the Reservists Commanders Forum, the Otef Forum, "Generation of Victory," and "Until Victory."

In the letter sent to the Prime Minister's Office, the forum leaders argue that the decision is "dangerous and maintains the current situation – it will be a grave mistake."

According to them, the IDF must fight Hamas until its complete surrender, a deal is signed to release all the hostages, Gaza's population is evacuated from the area, and a full blockade is imposed before Israeli forces enter.

"Without changing the approach, there is no resolution," the organizations said. "Stop the operation in its current form before it is too late."

'Only military pressure will bring back the hostages'

"From day one, the Tikva Forum has claimed that only military pressure will bring back the hostages – cutting off supplies and continuous combat until the enemy surrenders," Dr. Tzvika Mor, Chairman of the Tikva Forum, said. "Prime minister, we call on you to implement the decisive plan immediately."

"We were not wounded in vain. Stop trading in the blood of our soldiers. Land that is conquered with blood should not be returned until Hamas is defeated," the Wounded Warriors Forum's Kfir Zer said.

"Despite the terrible price we have paid, we gave you full credit to continue fighting," the Gvura Forum said. "This is not how to win – there is one way: a total blockade, evacuating the population, crushing until surrender, and bringing back the last of the hostages. Time is running out."

Lt. Col. (Res.) Hezi Nechama, a leader of the Reservists Commanders Forum, added: "We need a change in strategy – without a change in strategy, we will not win. We cannot launch an operation without implementing the change."

Hila Baruch Lillian from the Otef Forum said: "We, the residents of the Gaza Envelope, demand security. No more enemies close to the fence – nearly two years of war is enough. Decisive actions are required."

Yonatan Achia from the "Until Victory" movement concluded: "Leadership is required now to lead to victory and the defeat of Hamas in one go without pauses – the stagnation and ceasefires endanger both the soldiers and the hostages."

The pressure from the right on the prime minister was also reflected on Saturday night, when Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich slammed the prime minister, saying: "'I have lost trust that Netanyahu can and wants to lead the IDF to a decisive victory.'"
