Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with the recently freed hostages at Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus, with his wife, Sara Netanyahu, where he told them he kept his promise to bring them back to Israel.

"I promised to bring them home - and we brought them home,” he said of the hostages who were freed after two years in Hamas captivity. “With the same determination, we are working on the return of the fallen. We will spare no effort or resources to bring them back."

Netanyahu met with Avinatan Or, Alon Ohel, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Evytar David, and Eitan Mor.

Netanyahu said, "On the eve of the holiday (Simchat Torah), I came with my wife Sara to the hospital to meet the dear sons who have returned home. During these two years, my wife and I met with their families many times. We cried with them, hugged them, and I promised them: we will bring them back.

“There was not a day that I didn't receive reports on their condition, what we knew, what I requested to know. I promised to bring them back - and we brought them back. And now, after their families embrace them, we too will embrace them.”

Promises to bring home ALL the hostages

Netanyahu added he was grateful to Gal Hirsch, “who did a fantastic job in caring for the families and in contact with the hostages.”

“And regarding the fallen (hostages) - just as determined, with the same responsibility, with the same seriousness, we are working on the return of the fallen. We will spare no effort and no means to bring them back,” Netanyahu promised.

“I believe that with this approach, we will first hear good news about the return of more fallen hostages, I hope in the coming hours. But we are determined to bring everyone home."
