Sylvan Adams, president of the World Jewish Congress Israel Region, has announced a global campaign urging the international business community to stand with the Iranian people by preparing to invest in Iran in the event of a post-regime-change future.

Adams is calling on global investors to focus on rebuilding critical sectors including water, energy, healthcare, and infrastructure, arguing that economic recovery will be essential to stabilizing the country and supporting its population following decades of authoritarian rule.

The initiative follows Adams’s recent $100 million donation to Soroka Medical Center after the hospital was struck by an Iranian ballistic missile during the 12-day war between Israel and Iran. In a video message released with Farsi subtitles and addressed directly to the Iranian public, Adams pledged that he and other international investors would stand ready to assist in rebuilding Iran once political change becomes possible.

Referring to his commitment to rebuild Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba after the Iranian strike destroyed the hospital’s surgical ward last June, Adams said, “The Iranian people also deserve world-class healthcare.”

“When Iran is freed from its tyrants,” he added, “I would like to bring together leading business figures from around the world to support Iranian hospitals.”

The online campaign quickly generated millions of views and significant discussion across social media platforms.

Discussing a potential “day-after” scenario, Adams said Iran’s economy would need to be rebuilt “from the ground up,” noting that he knows investors and philanthropists who are willing to commit substantial resources.

“I personally know many investors and philanthropists who would join me in investing significant capital in the brilliant, brave, and industrious Iranian people,” he said.

Addressing Iranians directly, Adams added: “To the Iranian people, I have no doubt that you will succeed in removing your loathsome regime from power. I stand with you. Israel stands with you. The Jewish people around the world stand with you. All good and decent people stand with you.”

The campaign comes amid ongoing protests in Iran over the past two months, during which Israelis and Jewish communities worldwide have increasingly voiced support for the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom from the Ayatollah regime, even as concerns grow over escalating regional tensions.

Adams, one of Israel’s leading philanthropists and international advocates, serves as president of the World Jewish Congress Israel Region. The son of Holocaust survivors, and of a father who fought in Israel’s War of Independence, Adams has long emphasized his personal connection to the Jewish story and his commitment to strengthening Israel’s global standing.

Through large-scale philanthropy, international leadership initiatives, and cultural diplomacy, he has sought to build bridges between Israel and the global community during a period of heightened scrutiny and rising hostility toward the Jewish state.

Prior to his $100 million donation to Soroka Medical Center, Adams committed an additional $100 million to Ben-Gurion University of the Negev to support development in Israel’s southern region following the October 7 attacks. He was also named to TIME magazine’s TIME100 list recognizing the world’s most influential donors.
