"A mother and a father = family," the signs read, according to a report by Arutz Sheva.
The Jerusalem Pride parade is scheduled for Thursday and the Tel Aviv Pride parade will take place the following week.
This is not the first reported occurrence of anti-LGBTQ sentiment. On Sunday, vandals burned pride flags hanging in Ramat Gan, east of Tel Aviv, Israeli media reported.
"In Ramat Gan there will be tolerance, free love and openness to all, and zero tolerance for free hatred, bullying and violence," Mayor Carmel Shama Hacohen said after the incident, Mako reported.
