Bennett to BDSer: What did you invent other than suicide bombers?

“The Palestinians have spent the past 71 years victimizing themselves,” Bennett said.

Education Minister Naftali Bennett slammed Diana Buttu, a Palestinian-Canadian lawyer and a former spokesperson for the Palestine Liberation Organization, in a recent debate that aired on the BBC.
“The Palestinians have spent the past 71 years victimizing themselves,” Bennett said to Buttu. “They have fallen in love with it and bequeath it to their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren."
“The Jews had the worst tragedy in world history, the Shoah [Holocaust], but we did not whine for 70 years; we built an amazing country,” Bennett continued, in a clip disseminated on social media by the Hallelu Foundation.
“Now you can go ahead and BDS us, you just won’t be able to wake up in the morning, because the chip is built in Intel in Israel, and on your way to work you’ll get lost because no Waze… What did you bring to the world beyond suicide terrorists? What is your invention?”

Bennett is co-heading Israel’s New Right Party in the next election with Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked. Part of the New Right’s platform is opposition to a Palestinian state.
The Hallelu Foundation is a nonprofit organization which focuses on “highlighting the wonder and heroism of Israel.”
