The Tel Aviv Museum of Art is set to host its annual gala this week.

This Sunday, over 400 of Israel’s leading social figures, businessmen, artists and politicians will attend the Tel Aviv Museum of Art’s International Board of Governors Gala Evening hosted by Ron Huldai, mayor of Tel Aviv-Jaffa and chairman of the museum’s international board. TAMA’s gala event is considered to be one of the most prestigious annual events on the Tel Aviv social scene.This year’s gala will celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Dada movement. Among the local artists being shown are Keren OrSharaabi, Miri Krispin, Franklin Tabares, Hananel Dikson, the Smartut group, as well as dance students from the Maslul group choreographed by Yaniv Avraham and Guy Shomroni. The evening will come to a close with music and dancing.Guests are also invited to experience the museum space in a new, unexpected way, and take on a sense-provoking artistic and culinary journey catered by Chef Paul Assenheim and Talia Pevsner.The event is organized by Dina Papo, director of public affairs and resource development at the museum, with the assistance of gala chairperson Ruth Sheetrit and committee members Miriam Zeltzer and Tamar Rudich.A limited number of tickets are still available, to register or for more information please contact Dina Papo at dina.papo@tamuseum.com or (03) 607-7003.
