Habima Theater awards prizes

There were 12 winners at the Habima Theater’s excellence awards annual prize-giving just before the holiday.

There were 12 winners at the Habima Theater’s excellence awards annual prize-giving just before the holiday.
They included veterans Lea Kenig and Dvora Kedar, both in their 80s. Kedar received a Life Achievement award while Kenig got the prestigious Rafael Klatchkin Prize for her performance as the embattled Alexandra in The Velocity of Autumn.
Osnat Fishman received the Messkin Prize for Best Actress for her sizzling performance as the obsessed Alex in Fatal Attraction. Young Alex Kroll won the Friends of Habima Most Promising Actor for his performance as the tortured mental patient Oedipus in Oedipus – a Case Study. Composer Ori Widislawski received the Shimon Finkel prize for his music to Velocity, Fatal Attraction and The Good Son. Other awards went to playwright Maya Arad, choreographer Sharon Gal and Habima employees among the rest.
