The Israel Ballet presents a special full length production of Cinderella to be performed nationwide in December.
Lavish sets, gorgeous costumes and delightful music composed by Sergei Prokofiev will help tell this classic fairy tale of everlasting love.
With choreography by Ronald Savkovic, Cinderella tells of the virtuous and mistreated servant girl who is magically transformed by her fairy godmother, allowing her to attend the grand royal ball. She captures the heart of the handsome prince, but dashes off at the stroke of midnight, leaving only her glass slipper behind.
Savkovic is a graduate of the Budapest Dance Academy. For over a decade he was a principal dancer with Staatsballet of Berlin and winner of various prizes as both dancer and choreographer.
Recently Savkovic became the artistic director of the National Theater in Rijeka, Croatia.
Cinderella runs December 5-14 throughout the country. For more info and tickets visit www.eventim.co.il or *9096.
