The theme song by Nathan Goshen from Avi Nesher’s The Other Story was just released and is available on linktone.co.il.Goshen, who is one of Israel’s most popular singer-songwriters, wrote and performed several original songs for the movie, which will open all over Israel on October 25.Goshen, who is religious, acts in the film, playing a character not too far removed from himself, a musician who has become ultra-Orthodox. He is engaged to Anat (Joy Rieger), who has also become religiously observant, much to her parents’ dismay. Her father (Yuval Segal) comes to Jerusalem to try to talk her out of the marriage, with the help of her grandfather (Sasson Gabai).The movie was the opening-night film at the Haifa International Film Festival last month and had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
