The Jerusalem Woodstock Revival is returning for the seventh consecutive year at Kraft Stadium on Thursday, July 30. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with performances continuing on until 11 p.m.
Following in the JWR tradition, the festival will include musical cover performances by Israeli artists of such rock ‘n’ roll legends as Neil Young, The Who, Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eric Clapton and Sly & The Family Stone.
The festival line up includes Israeli musicians Geva Alon, Funk ‘N’ Stein, The Elevators and Gal Nisman and his young blues band Full Trunk.
Current X-Factor contender Libi, also known for her groovy antics as a 60-something grandmother, will be returning to the JWR stage with her band, The Flashback.
As The Grateful Dead wrapped up their final performance in Chicago earlier this month to a crowd of over 70,000, the love for classic rock is evidently still very much alive.
“We don’t promise the mud of Woodstock ‘69,” said concert organizer, Nadia Levene.
“But along with rock ‘n’ roll and hippies of all ages, we hope to bring back the feeling of love and freedom as in our previous events.”
Other family friendly activities such as face painting, a best-dressed hippie competition, juggling and game booths are also on the festival itinerary.

Ticket prices range from NIS 85 for adults to NIS 35 for children ages 5-14. Children under five will be admitted free of charge. For more info visit
