TOMORROWLAND: TOMORROW NIGHT One of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world, Tomorrowland has taken place annually in Boom, Belgium, since 2005. This year’s expansion beyond Belgium’s borders is called UNITE. THE SOUL OF KLEZMERThe Israel Museum, Jerusalem will come alive on Wednesday with the melodies of the shtetl as it hosts Klezmer in the Gallery, a musical encounter featuring a range of cultures and styles from around the world against the backdrop of the museum’s Fine Art and Jewish Life galleries. The show features music and dance based on the styles of Latin rhythms, hip hop, reggaeton and rap, all meant to represent the street culture of Colombia. LIGHT IT UP Grammy-winning American electronic dance music DJ duo The Chainsmokers will perform this Thursday at the Live Park Arena in Rishon Lezion as part of their Memories Do Not Open tour. RAISE YOUR GLASS Enjoy a toast to art as the Israel Museum in Jerusalem celebrates its annual four-day Israeli Wine Tasting Festival, taking place August 7 to 10 in the charming Billy Rose sculpture garden. The NIS 85 entrance fee entitles visitors to a wine glass for unlimited tasting from more than 60 of Israel’s best vineyards. The event will also offer kosher food, including sushi, fish and chips, cheese and focaccia. There will also be live music performances throughout the night. LEFT IN THE DARK With some 14 performances lined up between August 7 and 19, Prague’s Black Light Theatre will bring their amazing bag of tricks to cities throughout Israel. A COMIC OCCASION From August 8 to 12, children of all ages can take part in the 17th International Festival of Animation, Comics and Cartoons, or Animix, at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque.
