Famed New York stand-up comedian Louis CK said he is planning to perform in the Jewish state for the first time.
Speaking to celebrated radio host Howard Stern Tuesday morning, CK opened up on a number of topics including his preference for producing his own material at a high personal cost.
CK, whose real name is Louis Székely and has Jewish roots on his paternal side, said that recent projects had put him debt and one way to supplement his income was to perform his irreverent stand-up comedy abroad.
"I'm going to Israel and doing a show like at a soccer stadium or something there and I'll get as much money over there as I would here at home," CK told Stern during the interview. The comic didn't provide any additional details on the show.
Focusing on the money, Stern inquired how much the venture would earn CK, asking if it ranged in the millions.
"Ya, a lot of money."
"Oh my God...yes, the Jews have money," Stern quipped.

"My kids are like Israel and Palestine and I'm like America. The little one's like Palestine because she always gets screwed, she gets the worst deal," CK joked.
"The older one is like Israel, she comes up to me like, 'She burnt all my dolls!' I'm like, 'Look, I can't do anything about it right now. Your sister is crazy, please don't make me talk to her. I'll work it out, you and me. I'll buy you a really cool missile and whatever you do with it is totally up to you," he quipped.
