The Friends of Zion Museum reveals the fascinating stories emphasizing the support and heroism of the many non-Jewish friends of the Jewish People and the State of Israel. FOZ’s mission is to build bridges and create friendships for Israel and is building an educational center in order to inform tens of millions about Zionism, even promoting it to Israelis themselves. This week, Gali Mel from Eilat’s Begin High School won the Friends of Zion’s contest on the word “Hineni” or “Here Am I.”
The Friends of Zion Museum is launching an ambitious $100 million project to help educate pro-Israel supporters around the world about the Jewish state, its challenges and achievements. The new $100m. project will see the construction of a think-tank, educational center, Ambassador Institute and an online university.
Since they opened their doors in 2015 in the heart of central Jerusalem, the Friends of Zion Museum has gained much notoriety and has become a must-see site for all tourists and Israelis citizens.
The museum recently surpassed 60 million members on social media, making it one of the largest pro-Israel platforms in the world. According to FOZ founder Dr. Mike Evans, “the achievement of 60 million online members has come through the FOZ Museum’s ability to reach out to people all over the world and transform them into friends of Israel.”
The Friends of Zion Museum just held their “Annual Night of Heroes”, celebrating the One-Year Anniversary of the United States Embassy in Israel’s relocation from Tel Aviv to Israel’s capital Jerusalem. FOZ honored Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman.
The event was attended by many high-profile Pro-Israel leaders, both in the Jewish and Christian world, including: First Lady of Guatemala Patricia Marroquin Morales, Guatemalan Ambassador to Israel Mario Bucaro, Chairman Paul Packer of the United States Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad, Chairman Avi Dichter of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Nir Barkat and many other distinguished guests.
