IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz ordered an investigation into Thursday's leaked video of the amphibious infiltration at Zikim beach over the summer, according to an IDF spokesperson.The leaked full footage, originally compiled for an internal IDF intelligence inquiry, shows a significantly longer battle than the version originally presented to the public.The spokesperson office said that the IDF classifies the thwarting of an infiltration at Zikim as a successful operation that saved the lives of Israeli soldiers and civilians.
