General closure to be imposed on West Bank starting Rosh Hashana eve
After evaluations, the IDF has decided to impose a full closure on the territories, taking effect starting Rosh Hashana, Sunday evening.

A full closure on the territories is due to take effect starting Sunday at midnight, the IDF decided.The closure will include all of the West Bank, as well as Gaza Strip crossings. The IDF spokesperson stated that the decision was made after stringent evaluations of activities within the territories as well as political advice.The opening of the crossings and the lifting of the closure is due to take place on Tuesday at midnight, after Rosh Hashana ends."During the closure, any crossing apart from humanitarian and medical exceptions will be subject to the approval of COGAT (Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories)," IDF spokesperson said.
