US Envoy Jason Greenblatt slammed Hamas on Twitter on Tuesday saying that ‘this is NOT a ceasefire.’Following intense clashes between Israel and Hamas, Greenblatt tweeted that Hamas and other Gaza Strip factions must "take a path towards better future instead of violence and a dismal future.""Show the world you deserve its attention," he wrote, "renounce violence."Hamas announced a cease fire on Monday evening beginning at 10 p.m. after intense IDF strikes caused severe damage to Hamas targets, yet Israel never corroborated the reports.The Israeli strikes came in response to a Hamas rocket that hit a family home near Kfar Saba on Monday morning.Greenblatt warned that “sending explosives into Israel is a terrorist action,” as Gaza border disruptions continued on Tuesday.After relative quiet on Tuesday, rocket sirens were heard in the south of the country and at least one rocket was confirmed as landing in Eshkol region.
