IDF Lieutenant Colonel Moshe Avi joined a Christmas convoy from Jerusalem to the West Bank on Tuesday in honor of Christmas and good coordination between members of the Christian faith living in Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
Avi serves as the Head of the Bethlehem District Coordination and Liaison Office.
Led by Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the convoy traveled to the ancient city of Bethlehem to honor the holiday marking the birth of Jesus.
"This coordination occurs not only for Christmas," said Br. Ibrahim Faltas, Descrete Eastern group of all the custos of the Holy Land, "but all year round."
