1. One dead after car plows into crowd at rally in Virginia
One person was killed on Saturday when a car slammed into a crowd in Virginia. The incident occurred during clashes at a gathering of white nationalists who opposed plans to remove the statue of a Confederate general from a public park, officials said.

2. Man wounded in Jerusalem stabbing attack
A 31-year-old man was stabbed and lightly wounded by a Palestinian in Jerusalem on Saturday.

The assailant, a 29-year-old mother of five who has Israeli residency and lives in the Sur Baher neighborhood, approached the victim near the Damascus Gate light rail station, on Sultan Suleiman Street, and stabbed him in the shoulder.

3. UK police arrest man suspected of killing two women in London
London police arrested a man Saturday afternoon after a mother and daughter were stabbed to death in their North London home, according to media reports.

4. White House aides to visit region: Mideast peace 'difficult, but possible'
US President Donald Trump will send three envoys to the region in the coming days, hoping that talks which ended a crisis on the Temple Mount last month have provided an opportunity for broader dialogue on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

5. Train crash in Egypt kills dozens, injures more than 100 people
Two trains collided in Egypt's coastal city of Alexandria on Friday killing 42 people and injuring 133 others, the health ministry said.
 

A witness said the trains rose into the air "forming a pyramid" as they slammed into each other just outside a suburban station in the Mediterranean port city.
