Border Police arrested 80 infiltrators Monday night in a special operation between Metar passage and Tarqumiyah crossing in the West Bank, a police spokesperson said Tuesday.
The police located a stolen car and arrested the driver. They also apprehended an 18-year-old Palestinian who was carrying a knife.
Many of those arrested were from the Hebron area.
"This is a daily effort...that prevents terrorists from entering Israel and harming Israeli citizens," a Border Police officer said in a statement.
