Israel reveals new findings on 2009 police murders
The Shin Bet and the Israel Police have released new details on the 2009 murders of two policemen.

The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) along with the Israel Police announced Sunday a breakthrough in their investigation of the deaths of two policemen who were shot and killed eight years ago in the Jordan Valley.The two officers, Yechzekiel Ramzker and David Rabinowitz, were killed in their police car on March 15, 2009 near the settlement of Masua. The two agencies reported that, since then, many efforts have been made to locate the murderers. In their announcement, the Shin Bet stated that in April 2017, Muhammad Radwan Daraghmeh, a resident of the West Bank village of Tubas, was arrested for questioning about his involvement. During his arrest, police found a Carlo rifle and ammunition in his possession.According to the details released about the investigation, Daraghmeh acted in conjunction with two other men. He has been indicted on charges of premeditated manslaughter.
