The elections and the Beresheet space launch is over and Passover is starting next weekend. So what are Israelis looking forward to this weekend? Sun and sand!Israelis are expected to be outdoors this weekend, making the most of the weather - hiking and at Israel's renowned seaside resorts and beaches.Beaches across the country are expected to be packed with Israelis and tourists, looking to cool off and make the most of the sun.Tel Aviv is expecting a very sunny 27 degrees and Eilat 33 - which is welcome, particularly after the wet spring Israel has had. While rain is seen as a blessing in Israel, being able to relax at the beach in the sun also is.Even if you won't be by the coast, you should be ready to wear summary clothes. Jerusalem and the Golan are expecting to be 26 degrees, Beit Shemesh 30 and Beersheba 31.However, the hot weather is not expected to last for long, with clouds and rain returning on Monday and temperatures falling further by the end of the week.The unseasonably high temperatures coincides with the return for the summer of lifeguards to the beaches.People are reminded to only attend beaches with a lifeguard and to take the normal precautions when being outdoors in the sun and heat.
