Jerusalem deer park welcomes new fawn born on Valentine’s Day
The fawn was born on Valentine’s Day and has two sisters, he is the latest member in the herd now numbering 36 members.

Gazelle Valley in Jerusalem welcomed a new fawn born on Valentine’s Day and invites the public to suggest a name for the new member of the 36-strong herd.At the moment, the young fawn is staying close to his mother and learning what plants are edible.The herd began with one local doe and 11 deer brought in from captivity with the goal of protecting the unique urban park, the first in the country, which is located in the heart of the capital.In March, the park will host a special Purim event in which children will be encouraged to wear costumes that help them to camouflage themselves in the woods as deer do.In April, the park will mark four years since its opening, and the public will be invited to name the new fawn.
