Joint List leader Ayman Odeh called former defense minister and current Yisrael Beiteinu leader Avigdor Liberman "racist" for refusing to sit next to him in Knesset, a press release reported on Saturday.
He also joked he's considering asking Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein to always sit him next to Liberman, as that would ensure Liberman leaving the building.
Odeh, who is an Arab-Israeli, said Liberman "sees all Joint List members as terrorists" and stressed he views "anyone who carries an attack and kills people as a terrorist, and that is not a legitimate [action]," Odeh was speaking at a cultural event in Holon.
Using the Hebrew expression "Blessed is he" usually used in Jewish prayer Odeh thanked God for "ridding us of Liberman," he later said he is willing to talk with any man but Liberman chose not to speak with him.
