Kimberly Clark announced the appointment of Ori Ben Shai, managing director of Kimberly Clark Israel, as vice president and managing director of Kimberly Clark UK and Ireland on Tuesday.
Ben Shai joins Kimberly Clark UK and Ireland after successfully serving as managing director of Kimberly Clark Israel for the past two years.
Ben Shai has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, finance and general management in leading corporations around the world and in Israel. Prior to joining Kimberly Clark, he served as general manager of the beverage, pastry, cereals and snacks business unit with the Osem-Nestle group, and before that in a variety of senior positions at Procter & Gamble. During his extensive career, he worked in Switzerland, USA and Turkey.
Ben Shai will begin his new position in May 2019 and will continue to be a member of Kimberly Clark’s leadership team in the EMEA region under Tristram Wilkinson, EMEA president at the Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
Ben Shai’s replacement as managing director of Kimberly Clark Israel will be announced at a later date. Gidi Gouldman, operations director of Kimberly Clark Israel, was appointed as interim managing director.
