Liberman: Time to make decision vis-a-vis Iran, regardless of world's position

FM also called for MK Zoabi's Israeli passport to be revoked.

Israel must reach a decision on Iran's nuclear program soon, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said on Monday.
"The Israeli government is in charge of the security of the citizens of Israel," Liberman told Israel Radio in an early-morning interview. "And we need to make decisions regardless of the world's point of view."
"As I've said time and again, if you want to shoot – shoot, don't talk," he reiterated a favorite line, adding that it was time for a serious consideration of the threat, with a clear head, "in the cabinet, and [in] appropriate places" because at the end of the day, the "responsibility lies with us, not with anyone else."
If Iran completed its nuclear plan, Liberman said, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey would join a "crazy, nuclear arms race" in the Middle East.
Shifting gears to another hot-button issue, the foreign minister said Hamas was starting to re-build its terror infrastructure, but expressed hope that Israel's monitoring system would prove itself.
He also touched on Balad MK Hanin Zoabi's comments that compared Israel Air Force soldiers to Islamic State militants, calling the controversial Knesset member a "terrorist" that needed to be sent to prison for "many years."
He called for her Israeli passport to be revoked.
