Israeli Parliament Member Yehudah Glick of the Likud party took to social media on Sunday night asking Israel to pray for his wife Yaffa, who suffered from a stroke and is now in critical condition.
Glick writes on Facebook and Twitter that "two years ago she asked you to pray for me, and now because of her stroke, she needs your prayers."
In late 2014, Yehudah Glick survived and assassination attempt in Jerusalem and Yaffa then called for the public to pray for his speedy recovery.
Glick included his wife's mother's name, Leah, in his posts as it is customary in Jewish tradition to pray for the ill using both the name of the sick person and their mother's name.

Yaffa Glick has been in intensive care at Shaare Zedek hospital in Jerusalem since Friday night, according to The Jerusalem Post's sister publication Maariv.
