Netanyahu urges voter contact as he worries about election turnout

"People think we are going to win so they are not coming out to vote. Wake them up everywhere and tell them to bring their family and friends and go out to vote."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged Likud members to pick up phones and start dialing on Tuesday night.
"Pick up the phone and call people," Netanyahu said in a meeting with Likud members right before the elections."We must be the largest party, and at the moment, we have 4 less seats than Gantz and Lapid.
"People think we are going to win so they are not coming out to vote. Wake them up everywhere and tell them to bring their family and friends and go out to vote. Our mission is to narrow the gap as quickly as possible."
According to the last poll before the elections, Israel's public broadcaster KAN predicted that Likud would have the lead with 31 seats in the Knesset and Benny Gantz's Blue and White party would follow closely behind with 30 seats.
