Blue and White leaders joined forces in a collective video lauding their collected military experience and slammed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for allegedly selling the education system to the right wing and himself.
In the video, Benny Gantz boasts about commanding the 2012 operation Pilar of Defense in which Hamas military leader Ahmed Jabar was killed. Moshe Ya'alon boasts about his military experience and Gabi Ashkenazi about bombing the nuclear reactor in Syria.
Yair Lapid, who was a reporter during his army service, speaks about how Netanyahu sold the education system to Tkuma leader Bezalel Smotrich who recently promised to end what he called "the religion of democracy" taught in civic classes in Israeli schools. "You sold yourself, and the country, to those who support [Meir] Kahane," Ya'alon says in the video.
"Thank you [Netanyahu] for the last ten years," Lapid says in the video, "we'll take it from here."
Netanyahu in response slammed both Lapid and Gantz claiming they are supported by Iran.
"The lies Lapid, who is running to be half prime minister, won't change a thing," a pro-Likud video claims.
The video goes on to air a section from the Hebrew section of the Iranian Radio called Kol David in which the broadcaster offers support for Benny Gantz.
The jab about half-prime minister is about the agreement between Gantz and Lapid to share their time in office of Prime Minister should they win the needed number of votes.
