Pleasant, warm weather expected for Yom Ha'atzmaut; heatwave coming

Temperatures will rise slightly today, and the weather will be welcoming for Yom Ha'atzmaut revelers.

Thursday's weather will be pleasant, with a slight increase in temperatures, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere for barbecues, beach parties and enjoying the outdoors. Overnight there could be a mist over coastal lowlands and northern valleys.
Following a comfortable day, a scorching weekend is expected throughout the country. Friday will be partly cloudy, however temperatures will rise considerably and will be unusually hot across the country. Saturday will be fine to partly cloudy, with another a significant rise in temperatures.
Temperatures forecast for today and tonight: Jerusalem from 25 degrees during the daytime, to 18 degrees at night; Tel Aviv from 24 to 17; Haifa from 23 to 18, Safed from 25 to 17, Golan Heights from 28 to 14, Tiberias from 32 to 19, the Beit Shean valley from 33 to 16, the Dead Sea area from 34 to 23, Beer Sheva from 30 to 15, Mitzpe Ramon from 27 to 16 and 35 degrees in Eilat today to 24 degrees at night.
