Israel's Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon hosts conference for thousands of students in New York.

Danny Danon, the Israeli Ambassador to the UN is hosting an anti-BDS conference titled "Building Bridges, Not Boycotts" on Tuesday in the United Nations.
With more than 2,000 students, activists and legal professionals in attendance, the summit is one of the largest anti-BDS gatherings in history. 
The conference is a partnership between Israel’s Mission to the UN, the World Jewish Congress, Keren HaYesod, the American Center for Law and Justice, the Anti-Defamation League,  the Zionist Organization of America, Israel Bonds, StandWithUs, B'nai B'rith International, Hillel, CAMERA as well as other organizations.
Israeli Supreme Court Justice Elyakim Rubinstein and President of the World Jewish Congress Ronald Lauder were among those set to address the general assembly and the program included a special performance by singer-songwriter Matisyahu, a hero to the anti-BDS movement.
“BDS is continuing to spread and seeks to utilize international institutions to implement its ideology of hate,” stated Ambassador Danon ahead of the conference, adding that “this summit will create practical tools to battle BDS by training students to serve as ‘ambassadors’ against boycotts."
