Israel and Great Britain are both battling terrorism, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said following Friday’s train bombing in London that wounded 30 people.
“We stand with PM [Theresa] May and the people of Britain in our common fight against the forces of terror,” Netanyahu wrote in English on Twitter.
He was one of a number of Israeli politicians and diplomats who sent messages of support via the social-networking service.
“Israel condemns the #terror attack in London.
We stand with you and our prayers for a quick recovery go out to the injured,” Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely wrote.
“Israel stands in solidarity with the people of London. Our thoughts are with #Parsons- Green victims & their families at this difficult time,” wrote Ambassador to Great Britain Mark Regev.
“Last week we brought love & culture to http://London. Today terrorists sent message of hate. Israel & UK stand together against #terror,” Public Safety Ministry Gilad Erdan wrote.
