Stickers that said "Boycott Israeli Apartheid" were found in a Toronto supermarket on Tuesday in the kosher-for-Passover aisle, according to Canadian Jewish News.
“We are saddened to see another act of anti-Israel hatred targeting members of Canada’s Jewish community,” B’nai Brith Canada Daniel Koren, who works in media and communications, said. "We will not be intimidated, and we will continue to celebrate our holidays and observe our traditions, just as we will continue to support the Jewish State of Israel.”
Customers found the stickers at the No Frills at Centerpoint Mall near Yonge and Steeles in Toronto. When the store was notified, it apologized for the stickers and removed them.
