Report: Bennett aims to take votes from Yesh Atid, Israel Resilience

Head of the New Right party and Education Minister Naftali Bennett revealed to party insiders that his plan for securing voters in the upcoming April 9 election is to take them from the Yesh Atid Party, headed by Yair Lapid, and Israel Resilience Party, a new party headed by Benny Gantz.According to a report by Yisrael Hayom, Bennett said, "This is a change in how we do things. In recent years, there was no attempt to take votes between the [right and left] blocks, only [to compete] within our own block. We will do things differently."The report suggests that Bennett is aiming his efforts not against Likud and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - the Likud party continues to lead in polls - but against center and left parties.
