A 14 year old Palestinian teenager died after being wounded by an IDF sniper, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Friday evening.
The Ministry stated that two other Palestinians died during the riots.
Over ten thousand Palestinians rioted in five locations near the security fence on the border of the Gaza strip on Friday, the IDF spokesperson stated.
The rioters set fire to tires, threw stones on IDF troops, and threw Molotov bottles and explosive devices.
An IAF drone struck in the north of the Gaza strip in response to hand grenades being thrown on IDF troops.
Several Palestinians crossed the security fence only to flee back to the Gaza strip, IDF spokesperson stated.
The Friday protests, which the Palestinian call "March of Return", had been a weekly occurrence since U.S. President Donald Trump announced the U.S. Embassy in Israel will move to Jerusalem.
