Sara Netanyahu reminisced about her time as an El Al flight attendant during an ceremony to reveal the airline’s new “retro style” Boeing 787 Dreamliner on Tuesday afternoon.“I had a very nostalgic morning. I remember my nights as a flight attendant when we brought new immigrants [to Israel],” Netanyahu said. “We would take off with an empty plane and return to Israel packed with families, children, and the elderly. I was so excited for the passengers. They didn’t know the language but they knew they were coming home.” The prime minister’s wife was a flight attendant some 30 years ago. She recalled the many experiences she had during her time with El Al and the many life long friends she made – some who she is still close with today.Netanyahu reportedly met her husband, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while she was working as a flight attendant.
