Son of murdered Rabbi Michael Mark dies in traffic accident

Shlomi's father, Rabbi Michael Mark, was killed in a terrorist attack in 2016.

Shlomi Mark, the son of the late Rabbi Michael Mark, died on Sunday after he suffered a traffic accident on Route 6 while riding his motorcycle, Arutz Sheva reported.
Shlomi was the eldest son of Rabbi Michael Mark, a father of 10 and the director-general of the Otniel Yeshiva, who was killed in a terrorist attack in 2016 by a Palestinian gunman.

Rabbi Mark was driving to Hebron with his wife and two of his children when the terrorist shot his car, causing the accident that claimed his life.

His wife was seriously wounded in the attack.
Shlomi, 29 years old at the time of his passing, is survived by his wife and three children.
He was on his way to work in the Prime Minister's Office on Saturday night when the accident happened. 
Likud MK Yehudah Glick wrote on social media that 'the heart refuses to be comforted and the tears do not stop" over such a loss and that the funeral will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Har Hamenuhot Cemetery.

Education Minister Naftali Bennett wrote on social media that the pain that befell the family is "simply beyond understanding" and that "the people of Israel are with you in your difficult hour."
