Israel Golf: Ladies light up the local links in Ga’ash golf’s annual tourney
Judy Reefe and Jill Sadeghi took home first place, followed by Michal Ronen and Ophra Dagan in second.

The Ga’ash Golf Club’s annual Ladies Day Tournament was again a great success earlier this month.Sponsor Lilit Cosmetics presented the 36 participants with a cosmetic kit and the tournament was a better-ball Stableford format played in excellent playing conditions.Judy Reefe and Jill Sadeghi took home first place, followed by Michal Ronen and Ophra Dagan in second.Marilyn Cooper and Barbara Bishco rounded out the podium finishers in third.The best front-nine went to Dorit Coch and Olga Nadar, with the best back-nine going to Liron Naor and Ronit Kedar.Nearest-to-the-pin prizes went to Linda Streit, while Olga Nader took home the longest-drive honor.At the award ceremony, Linda Streit thanked Cooper for organizing the tournament and for the five years of intensive activity as the Ladies club captain.In an emotional speech, Cooper thanked the Ga’ash Golf Club for hosting the tournament and Lilit Cosmetics for the sponsorship, as well as all the women for playing and all the years of cooperation.In other Ga’ash news, veteran golfer Eddy Hoffman – playing with Basil Katz, Cyril Kaufman and Steve Taylor – scored a hole-in-one on the par-3 fourth hole, playing at 110 meters.
