Strong 6th for Israeli golfer Beck at Symetra Tour IOA Classic
Beck will return to Israel later this week to attend a professional men’s tournament in Caesarea.

Israeli golfer Laetitia Beck ended the Symetra Tour IOA Golf Classic at Alaqua Country Club tied for sixth on Sunday after carding an evenpar 71 to finish the tournament at 8-under in Longwood, Florida, four shots back of winner Jackie Stoelting.The first Israeli to ever play on the LPGA or Symetra Tour – the second-tier women’s professional golf tour in the US – entered the third and final round one shot back of the lead after carding a 65 in the first round and a 69 a day later.Beck is preparing for the final stage of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament after struggling in her first year on the prestigious circuit.She missed the cut in six of 14 events, with her best finish coming at the Manulife LPGA Classic in Ontario in June where she was 19th.She has picked up some much-needed confidence since coming to the Symetra Tour at the end of the year, finishing third at the Garden City Charity Classic and tied for 46th in Arkansas after fading over the weekend, before coming sixth in Longwood.Beck will return to Israel later this week to attend a professional men’s tournament in Caesarea which is part of the Alps Golf Tour, a European based circuit.
