The Swiss watchmaker Swatch is launching a Tel Aviv-inspired timepiece exclusively for the Eurovision Song Contest. Its design features the city’s most prominent symbols, and has been issued in a limited edition exclusively for Israel.Only 999 units have been produced of the new unisex watch inspired by the symbols and characteristics of Tel Aviv, such as the Azrieli Towers, Sharona, Reading, Bauhaus and more.“Greetings from Tel-Aviv” is written on the wristband of the company’s new concept Destination Watches which characterize large and leading world cities. The watches are sold exclusively in the featured cities, so if you want a New York watch, you have to go to New York. Similarly, the Tel Aviv watch will not be sold in any other city in the world except Israel’s own “city that never sleeps.”
Other cities which have already received a unique Destination Watches concept include Bangkok, Berlin, Venice, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Singapore and New York, among others. The collector’s item watch comes in branded packaging that features the international concept. The watch costs NIS 349 and is available in Swatch’s four stores in Israel.\
