Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai welcomed the opening of a new public-oriented outdoor fitness center on Wednesday, the city's first open-air fitness club in Israel. XPort, situated at the heart of the Tel Aviv Port, is open to the public at the cost of NIS 10 per visit for city residents who carry a Digi-tal card.
The 1,200-square-meter sports center will feature 80 training sessions a day throughout June by top trainers in the country. The center will operate in the afternoon and evening hours. The center was based on Los Angeles's famous "Muscle Beach" in Venice Beach.
