The balcony of a residential building in Jerusalem terrifyingly collapsed without warning on Tuesday, injuring a father and daughter standing on the perch.The father, 74, sustained light injuries while his 27-year-old daughter suffered light-to-moderate injuries.The two were evacuated to Hadassah University Medical Center in the capital's Ein Kerem.The pair were standing on the first-floor balcony of the apartment building located across from Jerusalem's luxury Waldorf Astoria Hotel when the structure crashed to the ground, apparently due to rust accumulation on the underside of the terrace.
